I was a star performing recruiter in the financial services industry. I literally interviewed thousands of potential candidates. I also hired and trained the ones I liked. I was considered "one of the best" in the industry. This blog is being written to help those of you that are struggling to "find your niche" or, those of you that are trying to start over.

1. First thing to remember is that, skill level will influence your opportunities and income. Don't let anything stand in your way! Just make sure you are competing in the right "event".

2. If an illegal immigrant can do it, you don't want the job. Unskilled labor is the most abused and underpaid individuals in the world of work.

3. Extend your vision to include "self-employment" opportunities. Whenever God closes a door, He usually opens a window!

Monster.com : allows you to search thousands of jobs based on experience. Apply online, or submit your resume online.

Government Jobs: This is the official website for the United States Government's job openings. If you are a Veteran and/or disabled, you get preferential treatment.

Craig's List: This is the #1 classified ad site on the web. Great place to search for local positions in your area or Nationwide.

US Air Force: I did my four years and earned my Bachelors Degree while on duty. Uncle Sam footed the bill. Not a bad way to get ahead in life if you are unskilled or if you want someone to pay for your education.

US Navy: Not a bad way to go. Same educational and training opportunities.

US Marines: For those of you that like excitement and adventure. Or, if you think your "tough"

US Coast Guard: For those of you that don't want to see the world. Catch smugglers, narcotics traffickers or anyone else that is trying to enter the country illegally by water.
